Essi is an emerging indie-country-pop artist hailing from Goondiwindi, Queensland and now based on the Sunshine Coast. She merges relatable storytelling with infectious melodies, captivating listeners with vulnerable songwriting and vocals. Essi's music explores themes of mental health and self-image, topics close to her heart growing up in rural Australia, which is highlighted in her 2023 debut acoustic single Clouds. After performing in a corporate band from age 16, Essi began her solo career, opening for Kate Miller-Heidke and later supporting acts like Melanie Dyer, Caitlyn Shadbolt, and the McCredie Brothers. She has performed festivals and events across Australia, including Gympie Muster, Brisbane Ekka, and Tamworth Country Music Festival. Essi's single Alcohol & Boys received radio support from KIX Country Radio and Australian Country Radio. 2024 promises multiple new singles and the release of Essi's debut EP, along with a return to live music and festival appearances.
